Hi I'm Marah

I'm a New Mexican outdoor enthusiast, fun seeker, full-time student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived most of my life in New Mexico where I play soccer and bike for fun. For the last year I've attended Brigham Young University in Idaho in hopes of being accepted into their nursing program. I'm an extreme lover of all outdoor activities including hiking, camping, and fishing. However, on lazy days, nothing beats binge watching movies, reading, and painting.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. I have never been happier in my life than when I have given my whole self to this gospel, and I know that the church is true because of the joy and love that it gives to people. At times I have struggled with my faith, much like anyone else, but I have always known that the church offers forgiveness and everlasting happiness. I have discovered that as I have grown in this gospel and have grown closer to my Heavenly Father happiness is real and it is attainable. I have seen this proven time and time again whether it has been in my own life or in others. I am a Mormon because I believe in everlasting joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by example. I strive to be the best that I can and help to lift others to their potential as well. Even more so, I live my faith by being a friend, praying and reading my scriptures daily, participating in service projects, and loving the people around me.
