Hi I'm Lark Curry

I grew up in Southern California. I am a Social Studies Education major at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I`m a Mormon

About Me

I just finished my third semester of college at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I love arts and crafts such as: painting, pastels, jewelry making, and crocheting. In high school, I was a member of a community service club called Key Club. I have three sisters and a brother, and i am the second oldest. I love dolphins, and I enjoy going whale watching just to see dolphins up close. My favorite subject is history and I am currently studying Social Studies Education.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this church is true. I was struggling with my testimony for a little bit because I was having a hard time believing that the Book of Mormon was really true and that it really was another testament of Jesus Christ. I decided that I seriously needed to know for myself if the Book of Mormon is true, so I made a goal with my self to read the Book of Mormon everyday for at least 30 min. This strengthened my faith in the Book of Mormon so that could ask Heavenly Father in prayer if the Book of Mormon was true. After I prayed to Heavenly Father with so much faith that what I read was true, I received my answer that the Book of Mormon is true. I personally felt the Holy Ghost testify to me that The Book of Mormon is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in my ward. One calling that I had a few times was Family History. With this calling, I was asked to teach and guide a class or individuals with their genealogy. Another thing that I do in my ward is that I visit teach. This is very exciting because it allows me to get to know more people as well as teach them a message. I have made so many friends because of visiting teaching.
