Hi I'm Tanner

I grew up in Richland Washington. I have been going to school at BYU-I and now I am going on a mission to Argentina. I'm a Mormon

About Me

At BYU-I I studied computer science. I love working with computers! I also love to play the Piano and Saxophone. Music is a huge part of my life. I loved being involved in Marching band and pep band and I will never forget the lifelong friends I made there. I am also preparing to go on a mission to Argentina, where I hope to be serving to the best of my ability.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel gives me joy. I feel joy whenever I go to church, I feel joy whenever I read the scriptures and I also feel joy when I pray to God. Because of the joy that I feel, I know that the Lord loves me. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am proud to say that I am a primary teacher. I teach 6 year olds in my ward the gospel. They are all simple lessons with amazing truths in them. I love to see their reactions to the gospel of Jesus Christ. So every week, I prepare to teach these little children what God wants them to learn.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Not all members are required to serve missions. Although there is a strong tradition of young men in the church serving missions, I have personally I have decided to serve one because it is what I think is right. I believe that I can make a difference where no one else can. I know the Lord will use me as a missionary in the best ways possible. Show more Show less
