Hi I'm Diana

I married my childhood sweetheart. He joined the Army and we spent 30 years traveling, while serving our country. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Arizona and have returned to live, in Litchfield Park, Arizona, after being a nomad with my military husband for 30 plus years. We have 7 children and 17 grandchildren. They bring joy and hilariousness to my heart and soul. My favorite pastime is spending time with my family. Having a large family opened the opportunity to do a lot of cooking. Hence, I love to cook all types of cuisine; tamales, sushi, pizza, cinnamon rolls, you name it! “Cooking is love made visible.” I also, I enjoy screen printing, quilting, gardening, swimming, cycling and of course, family history in every form.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ, the redeemer of the world who gave his life as a ransom that all might receive eternal life. He is my rock and my salvation. I am grateful that I can feel and recognize the Spirit of the Holy Ghost and bear witness that I know; we can receive revelation and knowledge to lead and guide us. I am grateful for the peace and joy I have received through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Through trials and humbling moments, I have felt the tender nurturing and comfort of the Holy Ghost bear witness that God is by my side and is always near.I am thankful to know that Joseph Smith is a prophet and that he restored the gospel to this dispensation. I am thankful for living prophets and apostles who teach me the correct ways to live and enhance my joy and existence. I am appreciative of the scriptures that teach me how to live and prompt me to action. I have received a witness from the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is true and I love the spirit I feel as I read and abide by its concepts. I am grateful for the spirit of Elijah and the blessing of eternal families. I know that the Lord’s has opened the windows of technology to our view. I also know that we can be guided and prompted in this sacred work of family history and temple work.

How I live my faith

I learned that the Holy Ghost is a precious gift that enables us to feel closeness with our Father in Heaven. I also learned that we must make the effort to seek the blessings the Holy Ghost is prepared to give the faithful. Moreover our experiences with the Holy Ghost are to bless our personal life and also the lives of others whom we can bless as we listen and obey the promptings.
