Hi I'm Brenna

I've lived in Provo Utah my whole life. I teach dance to kids of every age. I'm a mormon

About Me

I'm the youngest in my family, and the only girl (you could say I'm a little spoiled.) Right I'm in college! I love it. I'm working on getting a business degree. Honestly my dream is to own my own dance studio. I spend hours and hours a week dancing and teaching kids to dance! It's the best job in the world. I also drive a jeep, and love to take it to Moab and other fun trails around Utah. P.s. I'm way beyond passionate about way to many things; Harry Potter, sharks, Disneyland, macarons, bubble baths, Indian food.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints gives me daily strength and purpose. I love my family so so much and I have a feeling I'm going to love my husband a whole lot someday too; and I know that it's through this church and through my Savior Jesus Christ that I can be with them for eternity! Who doesn't want that? Sometimes life is pretty crappy. Like everyone else- I've killed my favorite succulent plant, totaled my car, failed too many math tests to count, dealt with less than awesome co-workers, lost family members, and every other unfortunate unplanned event. However, because of my faith in this church, I always make it through. Being a Mormon has given me an eternal perspective! I mean, I can look at a trial, and yes I stay up late crying eating ice-cream right out of the tub, but I know that my Savior is there with me. And I know my Father in Heaven would never give me something I can't handle. I'm sure theres worse to come in my life, but being a Mormon gives me the armor and strength I need to overcome any break up, any job rejection, and any stubbed toe.

How I live my faith

I have the privilege of teaching lessons to the sisters in my singles ward! I'm one of the youngest in my ward, so at first I was a little intimidated to receive this calling, but I've come to love the sisters in my ward. I'm also preparing to leave on an LDS mission soon! I'm very very excited to go serve.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon is different for everyone! Where I come from, almost everyone in my neighborhood and school and dance studio are Mormons too! It's really nice to have friends that share your same beliefs and standards. I've never thought as myself as "different" because I'm a Mormon, in fact, I've always thought as myself as "normal" for being a Mormon! Being a Mormon means you have an understanding of our purpose here on earth. Sometimes that knowledge makes tough choices a little easier. Like in high school, when I was offered drugs, or tempted do other things not in alignment with God's will, It made saying no a little easier. I like to think of my life as a Mormon as an outward expression of the love I have for my Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
