Hi I'm Cameron Asay

I was born in Longmont, Colorado but now live in Mapleton, Utah. I love sports and the outdoors. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Cameron Asay. I come from a family of six. I am the third child out of four siblings. I have an older sister, an older brother, and then a younger sister. I just graduated from high school and am going to leave on a mission soon. After my mission I am planning on attending BYU. I am a really big sports fan. My favorite sport is football, but I will really participate in any sporting events. Being born in Colorado I grew up to be a huge Denver Broncos fan. I also enjoy just being outdoors in general. I like hiking, biking, four-wheeling, and fishing with my family. I am really interested in medical sciences so I want to become a doctor one day. Specifically a sports medicine doctor so I can be around sports. I also enjoy being involved in service projects and getting to know new people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I find joy in being a Mormon. God is our loving Father and knows exactly what we need to improve and return to live with Him again. He knows that we need the restored Gospel and that is why He has restored it in these latter days. Living the teachings of the Gospel and trying our best to become more like Jesus Christ will help us find joy and this life and the life to come. I know that this Church is true because nothing in this world can bring me the same peace and joy that this Church brings me. This is why I have chosen to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and this is why I continue to follow His Gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every week. Sunday worship is a great way to start a week. Remembering my Savior Jesus Christ at church always fills me with a desire to do better and become more like Him. I also live my faith by praying and studying my scriptures every morning an night. Connecting to my Heavenly Father through prayer has blessed my life in so many ways. My Heavenly Father is able to comfort me in time of need and guides me through the Holy Ghost. The scriptures have also really blessed my life. The scriptures teach me something new everyday. I find peace and joy as I ponder and act on these teachings. Service is another way I live my Faith. God loves all of His children and service is way to reach out and show that love.
