Hi I'm Anna

I grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania and live in Florida. I love to talk about Jesus and the scriptures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a married woman to a great man and a mother to a 21 year-old son. I enjoy painting everything and when I am tired I love the study of theology and law. I am also a student in Paralegal Studies, obtaining the rest of the credits I need to start Law School. I have been part of the Messianic Hebrew & Jewish believers in the past and used to identify as such. I enjoy studying Hebrew. I also like learning about the mysteries of our Heavenly Father in the Scriptures. I am planning on finding a job soon that is positive and can help the community at the same time. I sell jewelry and other goods to supplement my income. I enjoy spending time with my family and helping where I can. I do have some chronic illnesses but our Heavenly Father has helped me through them. I have Multiple Sclerosis, Aortic Stenosis, Narcolepsy, Thyroid disease, and Diabetes. Heavenly Father helps me so that I can still be independent and tell others about Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am a Theologian. A Theologian is one who studies God. This knowledge showed me so many of the incorrect teachings out there. The incorrect teachings were eliminated through the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ through Joseph Smith. Prior to becoming a Mormon, I knew that the Church would be restored and I waited very long to see that happen. I just didn't know it was the Mormon faith. At the point they came and gave me the message of truth, I really wasn't sure when the restoration was going to happen because I hadn't seen it. I just knew it would happen. I had given up, wouldn't go to churches because of so many falsehoods being taught. I figured to just trust Jesus Christ and maybe I would see the Restoration at his return. The rest is history, the Mormon's came and taught me and here I am wanting to share the good news of the Restoration of the Church and Jesus Christ with those who would like to hear.

How I live my faith

I believe in Jesus Christ and hope that every day, I become more loving and patient like he was. I always try to serve others whenever I can. It sometimes seems like I am overwhelmed but afterwards, I see how the Heavenly Father has made the way for me and it is never as bad as it seems. Jesus came to serve and I believe to really get at the heart of what it is to be a Christian, one must learn service. I want to be just like my Heavenly Father.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Anna
If Heavenly Father is a just God, then He cannot accept us on our own. We are mortal, make mistakes, are unclean and we all sin. Therefore, to be accepted by God, we must be perfect - because he is a just God. Heavenly Father knew what would happen to us and before anything or anyone was created, he begat Jesus Christ as His only begotten Son. Everything was created by Jesus Christ (John 1). As we enter this world, we are created and born of mortal parents. Once we have faith in Jesus Christ as our Atonement, the Holy Spirit comes and lives with us and thus, we are born "again". Heavenly Father provided a way that we can return to him in the event any of us are imperfect. It ended up through Adam and Eve, that we are ALL imperfect. Because of His endless mercy, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son, came and died to pay the penalty of death that was our debt to a just God. As it stands, without Jesus Christ, we cannot even be in the presence of Heavenly Father, lest we would be immediately consumed. His justice is perfect. With Jesus Christ, we are able to be in the presence of Heavenly Father, not just now but for eternity. The Atonement provided us the payment of the debt, on our behalf, from Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. Heavenly Father is just, merciful and totally LOVE. This is why the Atonement was necessary so that those who have faith in Jesus Christ can be reunited with their families and Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ for all eternity. Show more Show less
