Hi I'm Ezaray

I grew up in Utah. I'm the 2nd youngest of six kids. I'm a convert to the LDS Church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was a full time Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) and I worked with Alzheimer's and Dementia residents in a nursing home before my mission. I love to quilt. (I machine quilt). I like to longboard, run, and anything that has to do with the outdoors. I love to dance and many other sports. I use to do Martial Arts. I'm currently serving a full time mission in the Germany, Frankfurt Mission. My goal is to go college after my mission to become a Paramedic. I want to start my own humanitarian aid group. I want help make the world a better place. I love to do genealogy.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason why I'm a Mormon all started 13 years ago.I was 4 when my parents got Divorced they were both in active. My dad later married my beautiful Polinesain when I was 8. They were both in active. When I was 8 years old I went to school where my closest friends are Mormon. They always talked about being baptism and how how excited they were to get baptized. My babysitter would sing church songs and I noticed that the home had a different feel to it; this sparked some curiosity. My parents at the time were inactive members of the LDS Church. One day when my older brother who was 12 years old and I came home from school, my brother went right up to our dad and said to him " Dad I want to be baptized." and then I said " I want to be baptized too." My dad contacted the missionaries and we started taking the missionary discussions. We started going to church every Sunday. Then when I was 9 and my older brother was 13 we got baptized by our dad and the next year we were sealed for time and all eternity to our parents in the Salt Lake City Temple. I am still going to church to this day and I will continue to go till the day I die. The reason why I love the LDS church so much is because it has brought me so much joy and comfort. It has has changed my life and the gospel has helped me through my toughest of trails like when I lost my Biological mom to a Pulmonary embolism (A bloodclot in the lungs.). I was 19 years old when my mother past away. But, because of the gospel I know that I will see my mom again and that we will have a joyous reunion. I know that we will be resurrected and live again. I know that Church is true. That Jesus Christ Atoned for our sins so that we can return to live in his presence. I know that the Book Of Mormon is another testament of our beloved Savior Jesus Christ. I know that we have Heavenly Parents that love us. I love being a member of the church. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I love to participate in running for good causes, for example I ran for kids on the move, a cure for breast cancer, Operation Underground Railroad, Primary Children's hospital, Angel Hands, etc. I am a blood donor. And I'm currently serving a full time mission in the Germany,Frankfurt Mission. And I love it.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Ezaray
For me personally as a full time Missionary the reason why we proselyte is because we love our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and we want others to come unto him. Our Savior is our beacon of hope. He suffered, bleed, and died and lived again so that we could be cleansed from all of our sins and we too will live again. I chose to serve a full-time mission because I want to share the joy that the gospel brings. It has brought my family and I so much Joy. I want to share my joy with others. I'm a convert to the Church and the missionaries who taught my family the gospel have made a huge impact. That's why I'm in Germany proselyting and sharing a message that will bring people closer to our Savior Jesus Christ. I love my Savior with all of my heart and it would be selfish of me not to share the love and light of Jesus Christ. I know without a doubt that we have a loving Heavenly Father. He knows us individually and is aware of us and our loved ones. I know that when we feel alone, that we're not alone because Jesus understands everything we face in life. I know that the Church is true and that the Book Of Mormon is true. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Show more Show less
