Hi I'm Ciera

I am a Mormon and have been apart of the church my whole life. I am grateful for the gospel in my life and the peace it brings.

About Me

I am Ciera and I'm from Idaho. I was born in Utah, and moved when I was one. I have been a member my whole life. I love sports and most outdoor things. I enjoy listening to music, and I love to sing, but I am not the best. I love spending time with my family and friends. I just finished my first year of college, and I am looking to be a Dental Hygienist. I just received my mission call in January, and I am leaving here pretty soon and I couldn't be more excited.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both members and so I have grown up knowing that I would get baptized at the age of 8. I am grateful I did, and I remember that glorious day. I didn't realize until I was older how big of a step that was in my life. Even up until High School is where I really started to see God's hand in my life and I realized so much about myself and who I was, and that allowed me to strengthen my testimony and become a better member. I love this gospel. It truly does bring all the happiness in the world to you. I wouldn't have the outlook on life that I do without it.

How I live my faith

I have had a couple of different callings in my wards, and it all started when I got into Young Women's. I was the 2nd counselor in a joined presidency with beehives, mia maids, and laurels. I was then called to be Mia Maid President, and a year later Laurel President. I love fulfilling those callings as I went through my High School years. I loved getting to know each of the girls and being able to help them through their years of Jr. High and High School. When I went to college I was called to be a Relief Society Instructor, and LOVED it. I love teaching, because I feel like that is when I learn the most. After that semester I got to be a visiting teacher coordinator. I have a firm testimony on visiting teaching because it can help girls out so much, and especially at college when their parents aren't there. I also live my faith by my example. I have high standards, and I don't lower them. I try to progress each day as Heavenly Father would want me to.
