Hi I'm Emily

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in California all my life and I love it! I am currently a college student studying photography. I'm the middle child with one brother and one sister. I spend my time watching movies, playing with my pets, and spending time with my family. I have been called to serve as a missionary in the Nebraska Omaha Mission! I am so excited to serve the people of Nebraska and teach of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have been through many trials in my life and nothing brings me greater peace and joy than the gospel of this church. When I was 11 years old my dad passed away due to a car accident. My family was devastated and so incredibly brokenhearted. There were so many years of pain and suffering and sometimes I still have trouble knowing that I won't ever see my dad again in this life. But, I am so thankful that my family did have that knowledge that we will reunite with my father again someday. Although we had that comfort it was still so hard for us to get back on our feet. Nothing can immediately fix that anguish but I know that when I die and see my dad again all those years of sadness will wash away in an instant. I testify that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true and I am proud to say that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

My most recent calling in the church was family history coordinator so I would help people find names of their ancestors so they could take them to the temple and be baptized on their behalf. Now, I am on my way to serving a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
