Hi I'm Paul

I'm a husband, dad and grandad. I love being an engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a husband, father and grandfather. My family is important to me. I enjoy old and new technologies, especially updating old items (Rotary phones, old cars) to work in modern uses. I like to create mechanical art that works to solve a problem. I love to drive my modified 1948 Chevrolet, and then take it to play on the local road-race track.

Why I am a Mormon

While serving in the military, I saw so many couples divorcing. I was searching for a better foundation for marriage. The LDS faith taught principles that could be a basis for a secure marriage. Kindness, trustworthy, self discipline, devotion and humility. The covenant for eternal marriage is a wonderful motivation to forgive each other and seek Christlike personal change. We have been married for 40+ years and love to help each other. We are going on a mission together and I have the best companion possible!! I am so grateful to the Lord for leading me to His gospel.

How I live my faith

I volunteer to help local neighbors or friends, with chores they are not able to do. I serve my local church in many roles. I search for records of my ancestors to build their story and connect to them. I also help others to find records of their ancestors. My wife and I volunteer to help a state archive library to make computer images of their paper records, so others can find records of their ancestors using internet searches.
