Hi I'm Aerin

I grew up in a little Utah town called West Point. I have anxiety, I lost my mother to cancer at a young age and I am a Mormon

About Me

I love to read and play my violin. I also attend college where I am studying Psychology. I have a big family, that I adore.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it has brought me peace, and an understand of the love that God has for each of his children. I like to say even though I was born into a Mormon family, I choose to be Mormon. When my mom passed away I struggled for a while wondering why. I have gained peace from knowing that families can be together forever. I have anxiety, and though I still struggle with it today, it is not what it was, because I know that God has a plan for me, and everything will work out, even if I do not see it yet.

How I live my faith

I have taught many groups of people, ranging from the youth to single adults. I have enjoyed doing this, it has allowed me to get to know people better, become better at speaking in public. I volunteer as much as I possibly can. I have done this in a hospital, teaching elementary age kids to read, and at a 1900 working farm.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Yes, the Bible is very important scripture, not only does it hold power testimonies of the Old Testament, but it holds the life of Christ. Without the Bible, the gospel would not be complete, the Book of Mormon is just another testament, it builds upon what the Bible gives. I have found many comforting thoughts from the Bible, it is just as important to my testimony as the Book of Mormon is. Show more Show less
