Hi I'm Jamison T. Selu

Born and raised in Lehi, UT. I love family, fun, and the gospel. Pretty sure Heaven looks allot like home. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was always the little kid in primary that when the teacher asked "who wants to be a missionary when they're older?" my hand would be one of the first hands to reach for the sky. I have always wanted to grow up and become a missionary because this gospel has shaped my life in ways that i could have never seen possible. In high school i was the kid who was friendly to everyone and became friends with allot of people. Some friends that didn't have a very good influence on my life. My faith wavered and soon diminished. I was left feeling a whole for the longest time. I knew allot about the scriptures so i used the knowledge for there to get me by in church. I had dreaded the feeling i had right before i answered any question because i could feel that something wasn't right. I used many excuses to try and justify to myself that i was okay. I had finally made the decision to become clean one Sunday when the bishop called me in to talk to me. On that day when i had finally gotten myself on the right track it had felt like i was seeing through my own eyes for the first time in along time. I knew that this was the way i wanted to feel all the time. I knew on that day the the Lord was truly watching over and he really cares about me. I love this gospel and all that it stands for.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be. The way I have seen my life change has helped me make that decision for myself and has blessed my tremendously because of it. This is the gospel that the Lord has set forth to provide us with the greatest opportunities this life has to offer. I have gained a testimony of its truthfulness and divinity of the book of Mormon and all the writing inside by doing what every missionary asks of everyone to do "to read the book of Mormon and ponder the message it contains, then to ask God the eternal father, in the name of Christ if the book is true." I have received my answer from the Lord and have come to this knowledge through his holy spirit. Through this experience I have learned not only that this book is undeniably the words of God, but that Prophets walk this earth today, tomorrow, and forever till we all come to meet God again. He has shown me the immense love that he has for his children. The love he has for me, he has paid an amount that I could not repay with in this lifetime. For that I am eternally grateful and do the things he simply asks in return. To keep his commandments and to live worthy of exaltation. For that I will do because he asked it of me. I know he lives and continues to bless the lives of everyone around us, myself included. By this I am Mormon because the Lord loves his children so much that he blesses us with these invaluable gifts such as having this restored gospel and a living Prophet.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a Missionary in the church of Jesus Christ and latter-day saints. #PPM
