Hi I'm Ryland

Born and raised in Utah, licensed as an EMT, serving as a missionary in Arkansas, Little Rock, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am the oldest of 7 children in my family and love to play outdoors with my younger siblings. I love Star Wars and camping outdoors. During my senior year of high school, I attended a small college and recieved my certification and licensing as an EMT, (Emergency Medical Technician). I was born into an LDS family after my parents met on an LDS mission. I love to read and write as well as watching a good movie. I love hearing and telling jokes/riddles. I am also a sucker for lightning storms, they are the coolest things to watch. I love to teach others and help them figure things out, especially if I know the topic well. I am currently serving as a missionary in the Arkansas, Little Rock mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My father was a convert to this church and he chose to go on a mission, where he met my mother. It was because of that choice that my father and my grandarents made, to listen to the missionaries, that allowed me to be here today. I am so grateful for all that this gospel has brought to me and my family. Though I had been raised in the church, I still had to know for myself thaat this church is true and truley study and pray wether these things are true. It was those prayers, study, and patience that allowed me to know that this church is true and to gain my own personal testimony.

How I live my faith

Some of my favorite moments of church is when I get to spend time with my fellow peers to do activities and learn more about the gospel in a fun way. It has allowed me to know my peers better while doing activities/services. I am grateful for the opportunity every Sunday to participate in church services and to learn more of the Savior and His gospel. Family is also a large part of how I exercise and live my faith, as we will spend time together every night, reading over the scriptures together and saying family prayers to our Father in Heaven together.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Ryland
The purpose of missionaries is to invite others to come unto Christ, so you can therefore expect missionaries to talk about Christ, His gospel, and His Atonement, which He performed for all people. They will also share messages and teach of our Heavenly Fathers great plan of Salvation, and the ways that we can return to live with Him. Show more Show less
