Hi I'm Lino

Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped turned down side up and I'd like to take a minute just sit right there...

About Me

In Aotearoa born and raised on a playground is where I spent most of my days. Chillin out maxin, relaxin all cool and drinking coffee watching 'Everybody hates Chris' after high school when a couple of guys they were up to sum'n good, started knockin doors in my neighbourhood - I heard one little knock and my siblings ran away so I opened the front door and saw 2 missionar-ays. I whistled for my dog and when she came near she bit a leg off and ran off and left me in fear. If anything I could say that part wasn’t actually true but I stood there nervously & what did I do? (Music - dun dun da-dun) I. Saw. My dog getting ready to have a bark and bite, so I had to think fast & said “come inside”, I didn’t want them in but it was raining outside & I was put on the spot and that’s what came to my mind. So we all sat down and had a little talk and at first I must say it was pretty awks but that conversation really means a lot to me, it’s not just history, it built my testimony & in 2 month’s time I’ll be a missionary, called to serve amongst the people of the Philippines. *Music* (diiiiiiiiiiiiii da-da-da-da-dun da-din-din-dinin Din din din DIN DIN) k that’s a wrap of my rap

Why I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

WoA: Always attend church on Sundays regardless, the silence during the sacrament is powerful I kid you not. If you sit by yourself (prevents you from distractions - such as siblings, friends, phones...you'll always have the kids around crying but anyway) and just think, just ponder and silently pray. Reflect upon your week, the things that you want/need to change will stand out (if its on your mind constantly something needs to change, that'll be your focus for the week). That silence as the sacrament is being passed can encourage you to make goals. It's as if its just you and Heavenly father, stay in tune with the spirit so you can feel that peace. I promise you just make sure you stay until sacrament meeting is finished.
