Hi I'm Hailey Dansie

I grew up in Utah. I have traveled to Asia and Europe. I am going on a mission to Brazil. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am just finishing up my first year at the University of Utah, studying Elementary Education. I love children, and every job that I have had has involved them somehow. I love singing, dancing, and acting. I have been musicals including "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" and "My Son Pinocchio." I love reading, especially regency novels! "Edenbrooke" is my current favorite. I have traveled to Japan, France, England, Canada, Italy, and many states in the U.S. I will leave on a mission to Brazil, and I can't wait! I am so excited to learn Portuguese, as I only know French and a little bit of Italian. I love this religion! Being LDS is the best. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found so much joy in this church. During every hardship in life, I have found solace in the church, and especially through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because this church teaches me that "families can be together forever." My grandfather passed away about a year ago, but I was able to find peace knowing that I will see him again. I can't imagine how hard it would be for someone to lose someone that they love and think that they don't exist anymore. That's not true! They do and they are with you. This church teaches us that they are happy on the other side and that you will see them again. I love the LDS church because it is full of second chances. If you make a mistake, you can repent and be forgiven through our Savior Jesus Christ. Through Him, we are never alone. He suffered everything that we have, are and will ever suffer so that He can comfort us. He loves us that much. I know that Him, Heavenly Father, and the Spirit are three distinct beings and that they love us and want us to return home. Through this church, we can learn how. I love my Elder Brother Jesus Christ very much. I testify that He lives and will NEVER leave us alone. I say these things in His name, even Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I attend the Young Single Adults ward. I do visiting teaching for three girls in my ward, where I go to their home every month and ask how they are doing. I also teach them a message about the gospel, as outlined in our church magazine, "The Ensign." I do not have a current calling in my ward other than visiting teaching, but I do have a calling to serve as a missionary! As I have mentioned before, I am leaving for Brazil this summer, where I will teach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
