Hi I'm Noble

Born in Salt Lake, but raised in Texas. 6' 7". Called to serve and assigned to the Nevada Las Vegas Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports. My love of sports, and interest in the human body, drove me to become an athletic trainer for my high school. At 6-feet-6-inches, I get asked often if I play basketball...and no I don't. I did at one point though. I now play ultimate Frisbee with my brother. I was in choir for 6 years throughout my schooling and was even choir president my senior year. I am a big fan of Star Wars, Superman, BYU, the Spurs, and Xbox. I have been accepted to BYU and have chosen to do the two year deferment to serve a mission in the Nevada Las Vegas mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church to two awesome parents. Both were born and lived in Utah. My dad is part of a long line of church membership. His side of the family loves family history work and we have multiple family lines back to Adam and Eve. My mother is a convert to the church who joined when she was a teenager. Later her parents joined and started working on family history work. As someone who was born into the church I could've easily gone through the motions and just passed by off of other people's testimonies. I always knew I wanted to serve a mission. However, around the time I was 12 I started to have questions about the church. I had to find out for myself if the church was true. I read the Book of Mormon, and relied on my desire to serve a mission. I gradually began to gain my own testimony. I began to recognize spiritual events in my life and I am continuing to grow.

How I live my faith

I am actively involved with the church in my area. I am part of the youth leadership for 16-18 year olds, as well as part of a committee that helps plan events for youth aged 12-18. I'm also a youth missionary for my area, so I help the missionary companionship for the area I live in by giving them rides, going to lessons, and helping them find people to teach.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

The most simple answer is that they will testify of Jesus Christ. Throughout the lessons (theres a total of 5) they will testify of him and his atonement. They bear his name on their badge for a reason. They will teach how the church came to be, what the Book of Mormon is, the Plan of Salvation which is God's plan which allows all people the opportunity to live with him again. They will teach of the Gospel of Christ and how to come closer to him. Their objective is to invite all to come unto Christ. And that's exactly what They will try and do for you. Show more Show less
