Hi I'm Jayden

I grew up in Tooele. I am going on a mission to Cebu Philippines, I have 5 other people in my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a senior class president at my high school. I've loved my senior year and all the opportunities I have had here. I love music. I can play guitar piano and ukulele. I have started to learn how to record music and make mashups. I've gone to a lot of concerts and my favorite place to listen to music to is while I'm driving in the car. I am also a tennis captain at my high school and it has been super fun. Although I am not super good at tennis I enjoy playing for the team and being around all my other friends. I also like basketball, football, and a little bit of baseball. I have 5 people in my family. My mom, dad, 2 sisters (one of them is serving a mission in Denmark), and 1 brother. I love my family so very much. I have a mission call to the Philippines and could not be more excited! After I get back I plan to go to college and eventually meet someone to marry in the temple with.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the lds church, and some think that if you were grown up in the church you were kinda brainwashed in the religion. Well that isn't the case at all. Although most kids will rely on how their parents feel about the church, there comes a point that you have to find out for yourself if this church is true. You cannot be a successful member of the church if you only go because your parents tell you to go. I have definitely realized this as I get closer to my mission. This church is the only church that has the full truth of the gospel. I know this church is true and it brings happiness and peace like you have never felt before.

How I live my faith

I have been in the church my life and have loved it. I am a priest, so right now I am old enough to bless the sacrament and sometimes I take the sacrament to people who cannot make it on Sundays, mostly the elderly and it is an amazing experience. I have been a president of different youth groups throughout my life, and I was responsible for making sure their needs were suited in the church and also planning Wednesday night activities, scout camps, and youth conferences. I go to seminary and I enjoy the lessons from the awesome teachers. I try to go to the temple when I can because it is such an amazing place to be in.
