Hi I'm Zachary Beazer

I was born in Canton, Ohio. I love sports and boating. I love camping and hiking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Zachary. I was born in Canton, Ohio with two of my sisters. We then moved to Arizona when I was six years old for my dads work. We then had my youngest sister and lived there for about two years. We then moved to Utah where we have currently lived for the past eleven years or so. I graduated High School just last summer in 2016. I attended Utah Valley University this past fall and absolutely loved it! Some of my favorite things to do are to play football and basketball, as well as baseball. My favorite sports team are the Utah Jazz, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, and the Philadelphia Eagles. I also really like boating. My favorite things to do on the boat are wake boarding and tubing. My favorite places to go boating are Bear Lake, Lake Tahoe, and Sand Hollow. We have not made it to Lake Powell but I've always wanted to go there. I love the outdoors. I love camping and hiking, as well as fishing.

Why I am a Mormon

I follow and live the words of Christ and His church because plain simply of how they make me feel. When I follow His teachings I feel happier and I'm not worried about consequences that might come from my actions and doings to others around me. They are great standards that I love and cherish. Although I was born into His church, I do know that it is true for myself. There have been many instances in my life where I know this is His true church. My family and I have been blessed in many ways by following His teachings and I will forever be thankful for that. I have been called to serve a mission and it is because of the love I have for His church, that I want to share it with others so they too can feel of His happiness and receive His blessings. I know that everything happens for a reason and I know that Christ loves each and everyone of us. There is a plan for everyone and through His love and through His atonement I know that we will live with our family for eternity. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and I am so thankful for the amazing leaders of the church today, and for our current Prophet, Thomas S. Monson.

How I live my faith

I participate in my community by serving those around me. I do this through teaching and checking up on people I have been assigned to, as well as just helping out those around me when I hear or see that someone needs help. In my church, I have had callings where I we organize specific events to help out others, such as doing landscape for elderly couples, help couples move into/out of their homes, and as well as ripping up moldy flooring from a water leak. I have also had the privilege of helping others in my church to organize a fundraiser for the youth, as well as just a fun talent show.
