Hi I'm Miikka

I'm a young Finn student, amateur author and of all things... I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born to parents who belonged to church so thereby I've been member of the church my whole life. I was baptized on 2004. I'm a young student, and languages, biology and geography have always fascinated me. Writing has been my most prized hobby since I was nine and I'm a bit of a daydreamer so especially fantasy literature and manga have a special place in my heart. If anything, I want to travel crisscross the world to see the untamed nature and live my life as fullest. Piano is my friend and I greatly enjoy to draw.

Why I am a Mormon

Since my parents were Mormons, one could think it would have been inevitable that I follow the same path but no so. After the years of my own search for answers and happiness and pondering whether the church was right or not, I finally came to realize the spirit within this church is something special. It's something you can not find anywhere else. I realized that whatever there had happened in my life, I never actually had doubted existence of Heavenly Father. I'm a Mormon because I know this church is the place where I belong. Gospel is not just beautiful words and teachings but a wonderful way of life. God has given me so much through the church that the better question would be: "Why wouldn't I be a Mormon?" I know that God lives, Jesus is the Christ and they both loves us deeply. Their love towards me is like a color pallet. Whenever I can feel that love in my life, it's like the world itself starts looking more colorful and starts blossom in colors in a way I never knew it could. My hope and my goal is that that colorfulness can fill every day of my life. I know that with the assistance of the spirit, which can be only found in this church, that goal is possible to reach.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live life with no regrets. I've set my standards and I don't want to knock them down just because the other way would be easier or socially more acceptable. I don't live by those principles because they're orders or rules, but because I know it's a right thing to do. I live my faith by seeking wisdom by reading holy scriptures, honoring my calling in my ward and loving people around me. I try to support others while they're searching their own answers for their questions. Lastly, I live my faith by trying to be the best person I can be so I can be sincere example for others.
