Hi I'm Ron L. Andersen

I'm a Mormon and have lived in Utah, Chile, Idaho, California and Washington.

About Me

Where ever I have lived I have found people who share my same beliefs and I am grateful to have known them and to have been edified by their faith. In all of these places where I have lived I have known people who do not share my beliefs about Jesus Christ, yet have been respectful of my beliefs. I am grateful to have known such fine friends as these as well. I am grateful for our US Constitution and the many other national Constitutions around the world, which give those of us with religious inclinations the freedom to worship and practice our beliefs according to the dictates of our own conscience. I am concerned with efforts to limit these First Amendment Rights to worship. In recent years our Church leaders have been teaching the concept of "Fairness for All". They have proven that laws can be passed to uphold nondiscrimination rights of protected classes and also protect those rights of people of faith to practice their religion. I add my voice to those working to uphold the First Amendment Right to worship as I choose, and thank our inspired Church leaders who are promoting " Fairness for All" in this blessed United States of America.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because, as such I have been taught that above all other things, the most important of all commandments from God is to love Him, with all of my might, mind and strength. As I have searched to know God I have come to love God and His Son Jesus Christ. The second great commandment is to love our neighbor as ourselves. I have received countless blessing and confirmations of God's love for me as I have endeavored to bless those around me with kindness and with the love of God. I am a Mormon because I long to show others who may not know God that He knows them, and loves them and longs to draw near to them as they draw near to Him. Jesus said, "Come unto me all ye who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Jesus Christ will give you rest.

How I live my faith

"When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God." I have gained a feeling of fulfillment in the years that I have reached to members of my faith and friend of other faiths or friends with no faith at all, in helping them to gain better self reliance. In helping friends find secure employment it give them and their families a foundation of stability and security that we all need in this life. With many of these friends, I have been able to share my faith in Jesus Christ and my sure knowledge that He knows each one of us and wants us to love Him and He loves us. He yearns for us to speak with Him in prayer so that He can answer those prayers.
