Hi I'm Lauren Wright

I was born in California, I now live in Utah, and I am serving a mission in Rosario Argentina. I am a mormon.

About Me

I am studying elementary education. I leave in July to serve in Rosario, Argentina. I love being with family, friends and playing soccer. I like to write, and I plan on becoming a second grade teacher when I return from Argentina.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon for so many different reasons. I have experienced life without this church, and I truly recognize the happiness that I feel when I have the gospel. I am Mormon because I want my family to be with me for eternity. I know how much our Heavenly Father loves each and everyone one of us. I know that He knows each of us by name, and that He has felt every trial, hardship, pain, or happiness that we have all felt. Part of my conversion story is the story of when I was deciding to go on a mission. I know that He answers prayers and that He is listening. This gospel makes me so happy and without it, I would be very lost.

How I live my faith

My calling right now is the "Outreach Committee Co-chair". What I do is reach out to those who are inactive, or not able to come to church. I serve and help those who need it. For example, someone who just had surgery- I would bring them dinner, chat with them, and pray for them. I visit teach also. Visiting teaching is an opportunity to love and serve a sister that you are assigned to. It is a chance to really get to know her and help her.
