Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a Chemistry major, a tiny home owner, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from a big, tight family! I love swing dancing, small scale construction, and music. I've been studying Chemistry, which I also love, at a northeastern Ohio college, but am leaving all that behind me while I go to serve a Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, though my own conversion wasn't automatic, of course. Much less, I was skeptical and cynical of a kid growing up. But as I came to understand that the peace and happiness I felt in my family and in my home was something of a rarity among the families of the kids I knew, I felt compelled to figure out for myself what makes the Mormon church I was raised in special. I discovered that our Heavenly Father knows each of us personally and loves us. I discovered that the Book of Mormon is His word and is filled with truth and testimony of Jesus Christ. I know He lives. I'm a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ taught in word and deed in the home blesses families and has blessed me.

How I live my faith

Service is an important part of my faith. We ask Heavenly Father that our prayers are answered so it is important to try to listen to the Spirit and serve others so that through His guidance we may be His hands in answering the prayers of others. In my branch, I direct music in church and sometimes am called to teach lessons to my fellow sisters. I also work to support the missionaries as a branch missionary.
