Hi I'm Elder Bona

I grew up in Provo Utah. I am currently serving a mission in Italy, Milan.

About Me

I have been a member my whole life. I am currently serving in the Italy, Milan Mission. My hobbies I enjoyed before my mission was playing basketball and learning about the human body and science. When I return from my mission, I will attend the University of Utah. I am hoping to get a B.S in biology and then attend medical school.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the happiness it brings into all aspects of my life. When I am following the teaching of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, everything seems to go easier. I also love the fact that families can be together for an eternity. Knowing that after death I can continue to be with ,my loved ones helps me cope with difficult things like death. I also have a firm testimony that the Book of Mormon is true. When I found that out for myself, so much clarity came into my life of why we are here on Earth. Being a Mormon is the happiest and best decision I have ever made in your life.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings. I have been our deccons quorum (12-14 years old) secretary. I was the teachers quorum (14-16 year old) secretary and second counselor. I have been the priests (16-18 year old) second assistant. I have also served as a youth representative for our stake (neighborhood) in which I helped plan activities and other things of this sort. I have been a home teacher where a companion and myself go into members homes and visit as well as leave them with a message. I participate weekly by going to Sunday service meetings as well as one day during the week to enjoy each others company as well as learn about our church. I also help in planning these weekly activities for the youth.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Elder Bona
We believe that families are central to God's plan for us here on Earth. We also believe that families can be eternal when sealed for time and all eternity in our temples. We feel that families will not only serve as a support system for each other, but we will have chances to learn, love, and gain better relationships since we are in family units. We feel that procreation is also another very important thing to do here on Earth. We feel this should only be done with a husband and a wife, which hence will create a family. Show more Show less
