Hi I'm Joni Reese

I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am married and have 5 children and almost 9 grandchildren. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Wife, Mother and Grandmother. I have 5 children and 8 grandchildren with one on the way. My family has been my greatest joy in my life. I love to read, play the piano and spend time with my friends and family. I love sunny beautiful days and spending time outside. I love to learn about a variety of things. I worked for a law firm for many years and developed some lasting friendships there. I learned alot about people and professionalism in meeting a variety of people and learning how to work with people.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were Mormons and so I was born and raised as a Mormon. As I grew up I realized that needed to find out for myself if the things that I had learned were true. I attended my meetings and I came to know for myself that I love all the things the church teaches. I know my heavenly Father and Jesus Christ lives. It is not a religion that teaches damnation but it is a religion that teaches that I am a daughter of my heavenly father and he loves me. He forgives us when we make mistakes and he wants us to come live with him again and he has shown us the way. Being a Mormon and what it teaches helps me and inspires me to be a better person, a better neighbor, a better wife, a better mother and a better grandmother. IT teaches me how to live my life so that one day I can live with my heavenly father again. I teaches me that families are forever and that it doesn't end with death. That I can see my loved ones after this life has ended. What a blessing and relief to me. I love this church and I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ so much.

How I live my faith

I attend my church meetings every Sunday. Through the years I have been in many church callings. I have taught the younger children , I have taught the youth and I loved that. I also have taught the women of the church. That was a challenging calling for me because I felt a little intimidated but as I taught I felt the love and acceptance of the women I did teach. I have also at times played the piano and have tried to do the things that were asked of me.
