Hi I'm Maddie

I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. I played soccer, and I am serving as a missionary in the Berlin Germany Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest of four, I am the first grandchild in my family to serve a full time mission. I played soccer and softball, and graduated from cosmetology school and am now a license cosmetologist.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born into the church, but gained my own testimony through out my life. I know that this church is true, I know Joseph Smith translated the book of Mormon with the help of Heavenly Father. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of the Bible and it teachings are true. I know our Prophet Thomas S Monson is a true prophet of god, and that he receives revelation for our church. I am so incredibly grateful for the atonement of Christ and for his sacrifice for each one of us. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be with my family for eternity. I know that missionary work is a great work, and that the gospel of Christ is growing because of the faithful and dedicated missionaries serving. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to serve a full time mission. I know how powerful prayer is, it is our direct communication with god. I know that through prayer he gives us the revelation and knowledge we need. I love this church so much and am blessed to be a part of it.

How I live my faith

Growing up I was the Beehives president and first counselor, the miamaids first and second counselor, and the laurels second counselor and secretary. I taught the 8 turning 9 class in primary and it was such a blessing to teach their growing testimonies.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

The easiest way to find someone to talk about the gospel with is finding a friend who is a member of the church. Ask them any questions about the church that you might have, and if they don't know the answer they know people that do! Whether they be parents, church leaders or the missionaries.
