Hi I'm Kate

I grew up in Houston, TX. I am a ceramicist. I am a burn victim. I'm grateful for life. I love being with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in Stockholm, Sweden and am loving every second of it. I love to sing, dance, and make ceramics/pottery. I know that my Savior lives and knows me individually. I am so grateful to have the gospel in my life and for the opportunity to serve the Lord as I learn and grow in the gospel by helping others come closer to The Savior. I love the Book of Mormon and I know it's true. God loves all of His children and He knows you personally. I find joy in the little things in life!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a firm testimony in Heavenly Father's Plan for us. At a young age I was burned on 40% of my body and in the hospital for 2 months straight. That experience urged me to rely on my Savior because I knew that He was the only one who knew how I felt. Jesus Christ knows us. He knows our trials and struggles. I am so grateful for the enabling power of the Atonement and for a loving Father in Heaven who helps me every hour of every day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the Book of Mormon every day for spiritual nourishment. We are promised that if we read the Book of Mormon every day, we will be strengthened. I can testify that the Book of Mormon is God's word and we have it today to help us with anything in this life. I also live my faith by sharing the good news of this incredible gospel with others. I find so much joy in Christ and in His church that I want everyone to experience that same joy.
