Hi I'm Paige

My name is Paige. I am from Wyoming and I love alternative music. I am a mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 5 children and I have 7 adorable nieces and nephews.Nothing makes me happier than spending time with my family. I recently graduated with my associates degree and am now preparing to serve a mission in New York. I love the outdoors and spending time in the sunshine. I enjoy taking pictures and love going to concerts. I am excited for what lies ahead and I hope to continually find joy in the journey.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from an active LDS family, but gaining my own personal testimony has been a priority for me since I was a young girl. I have come to gain a testimony day by day in doing the little things, but I have also faced challenges that I have strengthened my testimony. When I was in 7th grade I developed severe scoliosis and felt the stress of that weighing heavily on my shoulders. The spring of that year I found out I was born with a brain malformation that was causing my scoliosis and learned that I would have to have a brain surgery followed by spinal fusion surgery within a four month period. This was a tough time for my family, and I was scared and unsure of what the future held. One day I decided that I could either be sad and miserable or seek to learn something from this challenge and focus on the good in my life so I decided to choose to be happy. I knew that I needed to turn to my Savior and Heavenly Father to find peace and strength. Because of my Savior who knows and understands me, and my Heavenly Father who heard my prayers my fears were lifted and I knew I was not alone. During this time I gained a strong testimony of the atonement and the love that Christ and Heavenly Father have for each of us. I gained such a personal relationship with my Father in heaven and I knew he was listening to me. I would never go back and wish I had not gone through that trial because it truly ended up blessing my life. I know that I can return back to live with my Father and be with my family forever as I strive to live as my Savior did. Despite my shortcomings I still have faith that I can repent and press forward and one day be in His presence. This gospel is so good, and I love it with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I try and live the gospel day by day as taught by church leaders and our Savior, Jesus Christ. I strive to attend the temple regularly and am devoted to my church callings. I look forward to attending my church meetings, and am thankful for the opportunity I have to partake of the sacrament weekly. I set aside time in my day to read the scriptures and learn more about this gospel. Communicating through prayer with my Heavenly Father is another essential part of my happiness. I strive to be charitable to those around me and seek to understand others and refrain from judging. This gospel brings me hope and happiness in my life as I strive day by day to improve myself and become more like my Savior.
