Hi I'm Colby

I am 6' 9", I don't play basketball, and the weather up here is amazing! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy hiking in the mountains, going on bike rides, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy relaxing, whether that be reading a good book or relaxing outside in a hammock. I have been called to serve in Ohio as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel provides me with so much hope. I have made many mistakes in my life, and I have had many questions as well. The gospel of Jesus Christ, as taught by his authorized servants, gave and continues to give me answers to my questions and provides a way for me to overcome my mistakes and weaknesses and come closer to Christ. Being a Mormon gives my life purpose and definition. It provides a moral structure that helps me to feel good about who I am and who I can become. The Book of Mormon also gives my life meaning and strength. I know that this book was translated by Joseph Smith, who I know was, and continues to be, a prophet of God. I know that I have drawn closer to both God and His Son as I have read the Book of Mormon and applied its teachings in my life.

How I live my faith

I enjoy going to the home of one of the families in our neighborhood and sharing a monthly message with them from some of the leaders of our church. I also have the opportunity to play the piano in church for a group of men prior to the start of our meetings. In the past, I have also been able to be the president over many young men in the area, and I am currently a part of a youth council for our school's LDS seminary group.
