Hi I'm Carter

I'm a student. I'm a football player. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and am currently a Freshman in college. I plan to study Applied Mathematics with a focus in Economics. Apart from my studies, I play on the varsity football team. My schedule can get overwhelming at times but I have always enjoyed hard work and learning. I have three brothers and one sister. I enjoy surfing, camping, exercising, and all sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. This gospel has continually filled me with joy. Having an eternal perspective on life is very comforting. I also appreciate how the gospel blesses families; I cherish my relationships with my siblings and parents and I know those relationships have been strengthened by our faith. Most importantly I have gained a testimony of the restored gospel by the prophet Joseph Smith, this has come through study and prayer and is the most valuable information I have ever obtained.

How I live my faith

I have decided to leave school and football for two years to serve a mission in Ukraine. People always ask me why I would leave everything behind when it all seems to be going so good for me. That in itself is a big reason that I do want to go; the Lord has blessed me with all my abilities and everything I have, I am ecstatic to be able to give two years back to Him and serve his children.
