Hi I'm Hunter Brundridge

I grew up in a ski town in Colorado and now I'm about to serve a two year mission in Tampico Mexico. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I live in Ski Town USA in Colorado. I grew up skiing and snowboarding nearly everyday. I love the wonderful sport of hockey. Whenever I can, I try to go skating whether it be roller blading or ice skating. When I am not playing hockey, I am playing music on my piano/synth. I am a big fan of all types of music especially 80's rock and I can almost always be found tapping out a tune or listening to music. On weekends, I love to spend time with my phenomenal friends. I plan to attend college at Brigham Young University Idaho in the Fall 2019 semester. Right now, I have received a call to serve as a missionary of the church. I have been called to labor in the Spanish speaking Tampico Mexico mission. I am very excited to serve my mission and share my love for the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have learned that by living the gospel, my life has been greatly blessed and I have received joy beyond description. I have been blessed with amazing and talented friends and family who I cherish beyond all comprehension. I am excited to serve my mission as a testament of love and gratitude towards Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a small ward where I am the only young man my age. Only recently has our ward's young men group expanded now that most of the primary kids have grown old enough to be young men. In school, I was one of the only kids who lived the standards of the gospel. The other kids my age were not raised in the gospel and did not share my same beliefs. I spent most of my time with my small group of two friends. By living by my standards, I did not experience worldly pleasures, but rather I felt divine happiness and joy. As I grew up with sinful acts happening all around me, I learned to hold firm to what I felt was right and to have faith that the Lord would guide me. I now have been blessed with such phenomenal friends. Each day I am reminded of how blessed I am to have such wonderful friends. My friends respect my beliefs and they are valuable beyond the expression of words. I know my Heavenly Father has blessed me with such great friends. I know that if I was to have lowered my standards to pursue popularity and worldly pleasures, I would not be half as happy as I am today because I have lived them. My Heavenly Father has blessed me with spectacular friends and family. I know the gospel brings true happiness. The standards of the gospel have kept me safe from dangers and have lifted me up when I felt at my lowest. I am impeccably grateful for the gospel in my life and I know it brings pure joy to all who are willing to accept it.

How I live my faith

Up until a few months ago, I was the only priest in my ward. Now, I am one of three (soon to be four) priests in my ward. Every Sunday, I am given the awesome opportunity to bless the sacrament in Spanish. By blessing the sacrament in Spanish, I give the hispanic members of our ward the opportunity to listen to the sacrament blessings in their native tongue. In a few months, I will be headed to Tampico Mexico in order to serve as a full time missionary. I will be on a Spanish speaking mission and I will have the awesome opportunity to reach out to the Spanish speaking community. I will have the amazing opportunity to share the message of pure love and joy of Jesus Christ for anyone willing to listen.
