Hi I'm Maddie Janae Page

I'm currently serving as a beloved (as we all are) missionary in Washington! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student, nutrional health advocate (and expert recipe-ruiner), and ASl lover. I absolutely love to dye my hair fun colors, and my favorite so far as probably been navy blue:) I've lived so far in Utah and Ohio, both places I've loved... and now I'm serving as a missionary in the Washington Vancouver (read Washington, not Canada) Mission, teaching the gospel to people who have been looking for something more in their lives. I expect Washington will be one of the states that sticks around on my favorite places to live list.

Why I am a Mormon

I have felt the overwhelmingly powerfuly ability for the Atonement of Jesus Christ to bring peace to those who repent and ask the Lord to help them change. Change is possible, and the LDS church helps it's members change as they seek to love and follow God. God, through the principles the LDS church professes to be true, helps me change everyday. This is where I find true happiness.

How I live my faith

One way I live my faith is by serving as a missionary, representing Jesus Christ as I teach the people of Washington about their Savior and Reedemer. Everyday for 18 months I will serve and teach in Washington, bearing my testimony about God's love for them. I have a testimony that He loves us all personally and fully. I also live my faith by reading my scriptures daily, serving in God's holy temples, and building my relationship with Heavenly Father through prayer. Keeping a daily journal also helps me to live my faith as I map my personal progress and record the beautiful things that God so often teaches me.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Maddie Janae Page
Our bodies are gifts from God. They are precious and strong, but they need a little help to keep healthy! We take care of our bodies by not consuming tobacco, alcohol, coffee or tea, and any illegal drugs. This commandment from God is called the Word of Wisdom. As part of this commandment, some members will choose to eat little to no meat. I am one of those few, but by doing so I have learned so much about the Word of Wisdom! I feel strong, healthy, and emotionally stable! All blessings that have come to me as I've committed myself to living the Word of Wisdom. Show more Show less
