Hi I'm Chance

I am from Filer Idaho. I am about to serve a mission in Tahiti. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In the summer, I work on a farm, and I love going wakeboarding. I have a really good friend group, and I love hanging out with them. I love playing sports. My favorite sport would probably be basketball. I've been called to serve the Lord and I was assigned to the Tahiti Papeete mission. I am excited to go and serve the people there.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this gospel, and I understood what I was taught for the most part. I knew the scripture stories and I was told what was good and what was bad, but I never really knew for myself. There was so many doubts that came into my mind all the time. There was a point that I didn't know if I even believed in God. One night when I was laying in my bed, I was thinking about my life and contemplating whether God was real or not. I didn't know at the time, but I was saying to myself, "I what to know. I want to believe." Suddenly I felt something that I had never felt in my entire life. I felt a warm feeling in my chest. It was crazy. At that moment, I knew that God was real and I knew that He had a plan for me.

How I live my faith

Each morning before school, I go and attend classes where I learn more about God and study His holy scriptures. Every Sunday I attend church, and I am excited to partake of the Sacrament. I always know that I can receive a fresh start every Sunday. This is one of the best parts about living in this faith.
