Hi I'm Kiel

I am a baker and a full time student. I love serving others. Sports are life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently returned from a full time mission in Lima Perú. For work I bake bread in the morning at Great Harvest. I am a full time general studies student at Dixie State University. I love being involved in my school with responsibilities on student government and other clubs. My passion for rugby which started in middle school still shows today having the opportunity to be the coach a youth city league team. I love sports, I'm always down for a game of anything, playing or watching. My motto comes from the book of Doctrine and Covenants chapter 58 verses 26-29 which is to be anxiously engaged in a good cause at all times.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ for as long as I can remember. What keeps me motivated is the atonement of Jesus Christ. I know that I am far from perfect, but as hard as I try, my efforts will be met with Christ's. No matter what I know that He is there to lift me. Life is so short compared to eternity. There is nothing in this life that could matter more than returning to live with our Heavenly Father, His son Jesus Christ, and our families for the rest of eternity.

How I live my faith

My calling is one that requires much dedication. I am the elders quorum president in my singles ward. I am the leader of about eighty young men anywhere from the ages of 18-30. With the help of my counselors we carry out the class that takes place in the third hour of class, we give home teaching assignments, we visit and serve the members of the quorum, we help those who haven't come in a while to rekindle their faith, and we try motivate and inspire the members to follow the commandments and use the power of the priesthood for great purposes. I love my calling, it strengthens my faith. It is a humbling and honoring trust given to me by the Lord.
