Hi I'm Trevor Chandler

I grew up in Virginia. I've been called to serve an LDS mission in Santiago, Chile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am soon graduating highschool, after which I will serve my mission. I have been accepted to and plan to attend BYU-Provo in 2019, where I hope to study business. I am a huge fan of music. I will listen to and love almost anything, but my favorite genre is country. I also played the clarinet in my highschool band, and plan to play at BYU as well. My favorite thing in the world (aside from the gospel of Jesus Christ) is the beach. I enjoy skimboarding, paddleboarding, walking on the beach and playing in the sand. I am the oldest 4 boys in my family, and have two awesome parents.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that this is God's true church, restored on the earth today. The Book of Mormon is the keystone of this religion, and I have read it and prayed about it, being given a personal witness that it is true. I have seen God's power on earth, I have witnessed miracles, and I have lived God's commandments to the best of my ability, recieving numerous blessings and joy because of it. There is no doubt in my mind or heart that this is God's true church, and because Jesus Christ died for me I will live again, with my family for all eternity. To me, that knowledge is amazing, and that is why I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! I am born and raised in the church, but I have certainly had to gain my own witness of it's truth. I am currently serving as a local part time missionary in preparation for my full time mission. I visit three families from the church monthly to make sure they are doing well and to share a gospel message with them. Not to mention they all have super cute kids and pets who I enjoy playing with. Sharing the gospel is one of my favorite things to do because I gain so much joy from this church, and I want others to feel it as well. I currently attend morning scripture study before school everyday with my peers, and read the Book of Mormon and Bible daily.
