Hi I'm Lynna

I am a passionate and loquacious young adult. I'm learning to be a teacher to make a difference in children's lives. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to explore the world around me and I have the greatest adventure companion, a black lab named Wilson. I am currently going to college for a double major in early childhood education and elementary education. I love children (and feel like I relate to them much more than adults!) and can't wait to make a difference in their lives. I work at a school for the blind and the deaf and help to make sure that schools throughout Utah have braille materials so that the blind students can follow along with the rest of the class.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family that has been active in this church as long as I can remember. However, I have worked through doubts in the past, explored other religions, and found that this church is the true church of Jesus Christ on the earth today. Through this gospel, I have found healing, truth, and light. I have tasted joy that I'd never thought I could experience as I cope with depression and anxiety. I have learned that I am not alone and I have a Savior that lives and loves me, and reminds me that hope is never lost. I also have found an entire community around me, through my church family and friends, that cares for me. We work to uplift and help each other and it feels incredible to be a part of something this wonderful.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by working to uplift those around me, serving others and helping them as I find opportunities to do so. In my ward, I serve in the communications committee. I help people know what is going on and am in charge of a cute bulletin board.
