Hi I'm Bailey

I love the mountains, music, hurdling, and good bread. I am a student, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I can't get enough of the outdoors! I will do anything that gets me out and about in nature with friends. I am a student at BYU and my major is coaching and secondary physical education. I am learning American Sign Language, and I love it! I enjoy snacking on homemade smoothies and popcorn. I will have a dance party with anyone at anytime. I have a small obsession with the cartoon "Avatar: The Last Airbender." I have wonderful friends and family members that keep me laughing and smiling everyday. I am a total goofball! I recently got a mission call, and I am assigned to the Korea Busan mission. I am so excited to serve!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, so it's all I've ever really known. However, I didn't start to develop a true love for and testimony of this church until I was in high school. This gospel has provided me with so much comfort, knowledge, and answers to difficult questions that have guided me through the trials in my life. I have felt Heavenly Father's personal love for me, and I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I strive to live worthy to receive the blessing of the temple, and to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost to direct me in my daily efforts. I am eternally grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and for the opportunity to progress and become like the Savior. I know that the leaders of this church - including the prophet and the 12 apostles - are called of God, and they give us counsel that will help us get back to our Father in Heaven. I love this church, and I want to share my love for it with the world.

How I live my faith

I really like to feel connected to my ward. This past year in my YSA (young single adult) ward, I would attend as much Family Home Evening and ward activities as I could. I would get to know my neighbors, and participate in class discussions at church. I love to perform service for others, and I would continually try to find ways to help those around me. I do the best that I can in my church callings to help others feel the Spirit. To sum it up, I live my life centered around Jesus Christ; living as He would live.
