Hi I'm Becca Morris

I am a born and raised Coloradan. I have been called to serve as a missionary in the Detroit Michigan Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student at BYU-Idaho studying Horticulture with an emphasis in floral design. I am also a licensed Cosmetologist. I love being outside and going hiking, fishing, camping, backpacking, and swimming. I grew up in Colorado with my brother and sister and our awesome mom and dad. We have 10 chickens and a black lab, so I am a big animal lover. I love Colorado and Idaho as they are the only two states I have ever lived in. Someday I want to travel the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is the true church that can bring us to our Heavenly Father and our Savior. I know that this church was restored by the prophet Joseph Smith who was at one point just a young boy looking to find the right church. I know that The Book of Mormon is a true book translated by Joseph Smith. I know that he did all this with the guidance of our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. This church has been a foundation in my entire life and will always at the center of it. I know that if I am faithful and obedient to my Heavenly Father I will be blessed and someday be able to return to him. I know that this life is not all there is and that there is more after this life. I know that family's are forever and that we can be sealed together for all time and eternity in the temple. I am so grateful for the gospel, the blessings it gives, and the protection it provides me now and what it will provide me in the future.

How I live my faith

I am currently a temple worker in the Fort Collins Temple. I get to volunteer and help out with some of the things we do in the temple. I love our temple as it is a place to go where I can feel so much closer to my Heavenly Father. I am also currently preparing to serve a mission in Detroit Michigan. I will be spending 18 months working to teach people in Michigan about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am very excited to go because I know that a mission is a very big learning experience where I will be able to serve the people of Michigan while also growing closer to my Savior. I know that on my mission I will have the opportunity and gift to forget about my needs and wishes for 18 months to put the needs of others first. I know that by doing this I will grow because of the service that I will be giving these people. It will certainly be difficult leaving my family for such a long time but I know that both my family and I will receive many blessings from my service.
