Hi I'm Kimball

I like to run marathons, I can complete any challenge you put in front of me, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to run. My opinion is the longer the distance the better. I am the youngest of three kids, and love my family with all my heart. I love people of all types and tend to find leadership positions that help me test and increase my love for people. I am preparing to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints in Mendoza, Argentina.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 13 years old, my parents got divorced and my father left the Church. This was the hardest time of my life and I was presented with two options. Forget the faith, and everything I learned in it, or forget myself and go serve. I do not know of any religion that says serving others is a bad thing. So that is what I did. I went to serve in this Church in which I grew up with. I was then assigned to lead 8 other 13-14 year old boys in Church, known as the Deacons Quorum. I was asked to give a lesson on, "Why do I believe?" It preparing this lesson, I came up with the most beautiful and organized topics. It was filled with scriptures, talks from the church leaders and personal witness testimonies. The day finally came to give this speech to the boys, I had everything in line, and began speaking. At the end of this perfect lesson, I had a new deacon of only 12 ask me, "what is your testimony of this?" I had no idea what to say, I didn't know myself. Suddenly, I heard just heard two words. "I know." They were spoken in my own voice. All at once I saw my life and knew it was true. The first time I read the Book of Mormon, the times I saw my family kneeling for prayers. All the Truths of the gospel and I knew. With my heart was full of these memories and my eyes full of tears, I looked down at this young kid, and "I just know. My friends this church is true."

How I live my faith

I have been in the church all of my life, and have found that there is many ways to live the Faith. I have served in all kinds of positions in the church, and whether it be deacons quorum president or family history consultant, I have loved every bit of it. I know life is easier when you are serving others, and what better way than in my Church.
