Hi I'm Justin Ashton

Born and bred Texan with Utah roots. I'm eager to answer the call to serve in the coming months. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a member of the church for my entire life. I was born in American Fork, Utah but quickly made the move down to Texas which will always be my home. I thoroughly enjoy road trips, anything outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. I recently finished a semester at Brigham Young University where I hopefully plan to pursue a degree in economics. However, my current focus revolves around serving a full-time mission in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Why I am a Mormon

As a lifetime member of this church, it's hard for me to imagine what it must be like without the gospel in my life. The constant reassurance of my divine purpose here on Earth is an indescribable comfort which I wish everyone can know for themselves. With guidance from our Heavenly Father through prayer along with counsel from his inspired servants, I'm always able to have my questions answered. Additionally, I know the Book of Mormon is true and its message of the Savior's sacrifice is the keystone for everything I believe.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be a better person with each and every passing day. I've had various opportunities to magnify responsibilities given to me in the church. I've been a leader to my fellow youth through Boy Scout events and other church sponsored activities. I hope to be able to share my witness of this gospel's truth with all those who will hear it during my 2-year mission. Living the standards of righteousness and keeping the Lord's commandments have become crucial to my overall happiness. I do so not because I'm supposed to, but because I sincerely desire to do what is right.
