Hi I'm Kay

I grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I am a retired Technical Writer for the Idaho National Lab. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sculpt wood, stone, or clay. I also like to paint and draw. I like tinkering with mechanical things, some times taking them apart just to see how they work. I love to travel and see new places and go down roads I have never been down before. I am a Dad of grown children and have enjoyed being married to my wife for over 40 years. I like traveling with her and spending time with her.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I still had to gain my own testimony. I had to know it was true for myself. As I researched if the church was true I knew that I wanted to be married to my wonderful wife in the next life and knew that eternal marriage and family was important to me. Through life's experience, tribulations, and much study I came to knowledge that is true and that only through living it's principles can I find true joy and happiness.

How I live my faith

I currently am a Ward Mission Leader in my Ward. I enjoy going with the Full Time Missionaries on visits and helping them with their work. I have held many church positions in the church and like to be involved in my Ward. The Ward is like being part of an extended family for me.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Kay
I have a testimony that families can be together forever. This knowledge to me is a big part of my belief that the church is true. God is eternal and families are too. Show more Show less
