Hi I'm Spencer Horspool

I'm from Utah. I'm just graduating high school. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school senior that loves his friends and music. I'm in several choirs at my school, including the concert choir, chamber choir, and handbell choir, and I've played in the orchestra and play the piano as well. I love doing anything with my friends, and love my family as well (as much as they bug me sometimes). I really love shooting things, whether it be guns, a bow and arrow, or even just laser tag. I enjoy four wheelers and the outdoors (most of the time) but especially Southern Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were active members of the church since before I was born, so I have grown up in the church. Because of that, I was able to have a testimony from an early age. I was taught a lot about the gospel, and I've had many great role models with great testimonies, but my testimony is not simply a product of what I have been taught. I KNOW that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that He atoned for my sins and the sins of the world. I KNOW that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and restored His church to the earth in these latter days. I KNOW that the Book of Mormon is true. The Holy Spirit has testified of these things to me, and I can't deny it. In addition to that, I love the gospel. It provides me with strength and purpose, and brings great people into my life that I would have never met otherwise. I love my Savior.

How I live my faith

I'm an active member of my ward. I do fairly well going to visit my assigned families each month for home teaching, and go to most weekly Young Men's activities. I regularly get called to speak or sing in sacrament meeting (one of the curses of being musically inclined). I have been in several youth leadership positions, and am currently called to serve the people of Scotland and Ireland on a full time mission.
