Hi I'm Nathan

I grew up in Idaho; I love to write, and I hope to study to become a professor of religion or a psychologist. I am a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in Idaho in a big family. I love hiking and just being outdoors and appreciating nature. As I do, I feel closer to God. I love writing, especially poetry, although My work is pretty basic. I want to find a career that I have an actual purpose in and where I can see my work actually helping people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because as I read the Book of Mormon I have strong feelings come to my heart that don't come when I'm doing anything else. I know that this is a witness of its truthfulness and because of this I also know that Jesus Christ lives and is my Savior and Redeemer; I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's church restored upon the Earth. I am also a Mormon because I have felt the truthfulness of the words of living prophets and know that they are servants of the Lord ordained to lead and guide His church and His work upon the Earth. I have also felt a reassurance that the church and what I do in it is true and will bring me closer to God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to learn of Christ and His gospel. I try and read the scriptures everyday. I love studying words of the Book of Mormon as well as the Bible. As I read the scriptures I feel closer to God and want to improve. I also live my faith when I serve others. It gives me the chance to see how God loves his children and helps me to be more positive about life and love them too. Finally, I live my faith by listening to, studying the words of, and sustaining the prophets and Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As I do, I truly feel closer to God.
