Hi I'm Lis!

I am the second of ten children. I love adventure. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a lover of life! I'm currently a student studying Child Development at a college I love. I enjoy playing the piano, painting, music and exploration. Growing up, my family and I moved 13 times before I was 14, which allowed me to learn to love cultures, languages and people from all around the world. I am beyond excited to have recently accepted my call to serve in the Belgium/Netherlands Mission this summer, speaking Dutch. I love God, my family and the life I've been blessed with.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ brings me joy. Jesus Christ has shown me how to live by His example of true service and sacrifice. He has given me hope. His gospel has brought me lasting joy, comfort and peace in times of hardship and happiness. I desire to do good and have found how through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving and communicating with those I come in contact with on a daily basis. I strive to smile at every person I walk past each day. I have the opportunity of teaching my fellow peers in Sunday School, as well as volunteer at my local LDS temple. I teach and visit two other women and strive to serve them as our Savior would.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Lis!
