Hi I'm Brayden

I love motorcycles, rock climbing, and all things adventurous. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm in my 20's and going to college. I'm studying both International Business and Pre-Medicine, and I want to run my own practice as a doctor one day. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, backpacking, and restoring vintage vehicles with my grandfather. I love to travel and experience new places and cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

Despite growing up in a Mormon family, I didn't find my own personal conversion until I was 19 years old. It wasn't until I'd moved away from my home, friends, and family that I realized how much peace, joy, and love the gospel of Jesus Christ brought to my life. I'd spent a year away from home and absolutely struggled financially, physically, socially, emotionally, and most of all, spiritually. I had made decisions in my life that set me back spiritually, and as such, I found myself missing a great truth and peace in my life. It was through the atonement of Jesus Christ that I was able to find peace, comfort, and joy within my soul. As I corrected myself spiritually, I noticed improvements in my physical health; financial opportunities and blessings became more abundant; I was more comfortable and confident socially; my emotional and mental struggles slowly went away, leaving me feeling lighter, freer, and happier; and most importantly, I began to know my Savior and my Father in heaven. I am a Mormon because I have faith in, and a testimony of, the gospel of Jesus Christ which has been restored again to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that the atonement and gospel of Jesus Christ can heal and uplift our lives, and I know this by personal experience and desire to know the truth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings and participating in lessons. I also have a daily goal to read out of the Book of Mormon, as well as the Holy Bible, and pray to my Father in heaven. I live my faith by challenging myself to act as Christ himself did and love all those around me. I look for opportunities to serve in my neighborhood and community, and also within my own home.
