Hi I'm Martin

I love riding motorcycles, skiing, learning and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I like to keep things interesting by learning new things and hiking in places I've never been, but i definitely have a few things i go back to. Skiing is probably my favorite thing to do but riding motorcycles is right up there. I cant wait to go to University, but before i do that I will spending two years serving God in Argentina.

Why I am a Mormon

My family actually raised me in the church. My families membership goes all the way back to the early days of the Mormon Pioneers and many of my ancestors helped build the early Mormon communities in Utah and Idaho. As for me, I am a Mormon because I have been blessed by being a member. Knowing you're not alone in your quest to find God and to learn how to live a better life is comforting, and having others there who can share what they've learned from reading the Book of Mormon or the bible or living the commandments or etc makes you feel more enabled and more willing to face the wind and press on.

How I live my faith

I'm in the young men group and I assist the bishop in directing the other boys my age. I also prepare the sacrament, which is like communion, and I visit members in their homes. Basically my duties are to help people feel welcome in the church and give assistance when its needed.
