Hi I'm Merrill

I grew up in Southeast Idaho. I went to school and completed College. I love the Gospel and as a result, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Senior, age 63. I grew up in Southeast Idaho. I went to school there and later attending a major University and graduating in Accounting. I have 5 wonderful Kids and currently four even more wonderful grandkids. Hobbies are shooting, hunting, fishing, and just traveling. My previous hobbies were skiing, raquetball, riding dirt bikes and various others. I love life and appreciate each and every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a family of Mormons. I was taught much in my youth. I felt the spirit at a very early age testifying to me that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. That was something I have never forgotten and has helped me many times with my struggles to remain true to the commandments. I know that God watches over each of us and loves us. I also know that each and every one of us is very special and loved by God. He has already shown and continues to show us in so many ways His love for each of us. We were put here on earth to prove our love for Him too. And when we show that we love Him too, He will greatly bless our lives. We show our love to Him by loving others and by showing them His love is there for them continually. I cannot nor would I ever want to deny it. That is why I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live God's commandments each day. I am aware of my weaknesses and continue to work on these. I try to love others, even those with opposing oppinions. I have taught the Gospel principles in church, primarily to the youth but adults as well and even prison inmates. Outside the church, I've met with others both of my religion as well as those not of my religion in their homes to teach them about the Gospel. I love to see the change in people as they learn more about the Gospel of Christ.
