Hi I'm Brianna

I am from the great state of Texas, the oldest child, a waitress, a college student, a lover of stormy weather, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student with the plans to become a dentist or physician assistant. I love learning and pushing myself to learn new things. I love reading. My mom is from Peru which makes all holidays fun as we have a good mix of traditions. I love to look at art whether that's in art museums or in my sister's room. I am passionate about food and all things chocolate. I could walk through nature all day (with the exception of spiders) and watch thunderstorms and rain all night long. I get so excited to cook and smell all different spices especially if that means learning new Peruvian recipes from my mom and grandma. I love listening to all the great stories about my family past and present.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it simply makes me happy. I know that I will never endure anything alone. Although change can be difficult, I know it's possible with the help of Jesus Christ. I love how I always feel encouraged by this great, big family of those who believe. I love that I can always become a little better each day even when I fall short. I know we have divine potential to become who we need to be and more. I know that we have inspired leaders who give divine guidance. I love being able to learn how I can be better as a person, a sister, and a friend. I love the person I am becoming each and every day with this church. I love being Mormon.

How I live my faith

Progressing little by little each day. Never forgetting the importance of the small and simple things. Always remembering the power that comes from reading the scriptures and how it instantly moves you to try to become a better person that very second. Helping and serving others, even when you're busy or tired. Remembering where we come from and our divine potential. Smiling and always being kind. Loving people for who they are and seeing what they can become. Praying, praying, praying.
