Hi I'm Hunter Crowton

I grew up in Utah, my Mom's Colombian, I grow a Fro and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm preparing to serve a full-time mission in North Carolina, Raleigh. En Español! I leave on May 10th. I'm an avid scholar and full-time nerd. Believe me. I read and read and read. Harry Potter was my childhood. When I was younger my parents would take away my books and make me go outside. I was like Guy Montag, a refugee for knowledge. So you could say I enjoy Literature. I was also the Social Science Sterling Scholar for my region. I'm a History Buff as you've never known one before. I'm also an invigorated Film Fan. I love STAR WARS, Spider-Man, Lord of the Rings and any quality movie experience. I'm planning on attending Utah State University after my mission and going into the field of being awesome! I hope I can get married along the way. GO AGGIES!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS family. My mother was Colombian - previously Catholic in her younger days - and was converted. My father met her on his mission and then reunited with her by "chance" years later. Both my parents have taught me the gospel through their loving examples, strong faith and sometimes even by their steeped political opinions. I am developing my testimony every day but I know that this gospel is the reason I'm even alive and the reason I get out of bed with a smile on my face every morning. I love this church and I want to share that love with others.

How I live my faith

I'm going to be a missionary soon. I also tutor for Odyssey Elementary in Ogden. I have served in dozens of public projects, soup kitchens, hospitals and even just at home. I'm your friendly neighborhood service man! I also frequently embarrass myself on the pulpit giving talks that I really hope no one records. As long as I'm making others laugh though, I'll be okay.
