Hi I'm Aubry Poulton

I'm a proud Sister missionary. I love History! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary serving in the New York, Utica Mission. I love cheesecake so I am in a good place. I love this gospel with all my heart, might, mind, and soul. Nothing beats being close to God!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this Church in a multi generational family so I have always gone to church. I have been taught the principles of the gospel from a young age. Despite living in Utah and being raised in the LDS faith I had to learn for myself if these things were true or not. A lot of my testimony came from my parent's example, taking religion classes, and youth activities provided by the church. I know this church is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and through revelation he was able to obtain and translate records that would become the Book of Mormon. I know that Thomas S. Monson is God's prophet on the Earth today, and that we can be divinely guided if we head his words and take his council. I know that the Atonement is a power that can be accessed by every man, woman, and child. Christ loves us and wants to guide us through our trials and afflictions. I have been through many trials in my life and I have had to put my faith to the test time and time again. IT WORKS!! IT REALLY WORKS! You can be happy! You can feel uplifted! You don't have to carry it on your own! I love this perfect gospel. I love that I know I am never too lost to be found or too broken to be mended. I love my Savior and my Heavenly Father. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I wake up in the morning and I make a decision, "Am I going to be happy today or not?" The answer today is "Yes, I am!" What can I do that will make it easier to be happy despite the challenges and stresses of the day? I try to start with a prayer and while I exercise I listen to a talk given by Men and Women who are called of God to preach to us,we call them General Authorities, and their words uplift me. At this point I go about my routine day. Food, classes, homework, work, and so on. I scramble but amidst the scramble I smile. I am kind to my neighbor. I live and make decisions to choose good over evil, God over man, Christ over Satan. That's how I live my faith by doing and living. I go to church, I participate, I am an active member of my community and I let my light shine. I do the things our prophet, Thomas S. Monson, asks us as children of God to do.
